Account deletion

Last updated: 27 August 2026

This page explains how to delete your seafarer account in 360 Crewing, what happens after you do, and how to ask your crewing company to erase your personal data.

360 Crewing is used by crewing companies to manage their crew. Your account gives you access to 360 Crewing; the crew record itself (certificates, contracts, medical and payroll history) belongs to the crewing company that employs you. Deleting your account and erasing that record are two different requests, and both are described below.

How to delete your account

  1. Open the 360 Crewing app, or the web version at your crewing company’s address, and sign in.
  2. Go to Profile → Settings.
  3. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
  4. Read the warning and confirm.
  5. You are signed out immediately.

The 30-day restore period

Deletion is not immediate. For 30 days after you confirm, your account is closed but recoverable:

  • You cannot use 360 Crewing — your data is not shown to you and cannot be edited.
  • We stop sending you notifications, by email and by push.
  • You can change your mind: sign in with the same credentials and tap Restore account.

After 30 days the account can no longer be restored by you or by your crewing company. Access is closed permanently.

What deleting your account does and does not do

Deleting your account closes your access to 360 Crewing, in both the app and the web version. It does not, by itself, erase the crew record your employer keeps about you: your crewing company remains the controller of that data and may be required to retain parts of it — employment, contract and payroll records in particular — for as long as maritime and tax law requires.

Erasing your personal data

If you want your personal data erased, and not only your access closed, send the request to your crewing company — they decide what can be deleted and what must be retained by law. If you do not know who to contact, or the company does not respond, write to us at hello@360crewing.com and we will route the request and assist the company in fulfilling it.

What we hold, on what grounds, and for how long is described in our Privacy Policy.

Cannot sign in?

If you have lost access to your account but still want it deleted, write to hello@360crewing.com from the email address linked to the account, or contact your crewing company directly. We may ask for additional details to confirm the request comes from you.
